Arabic
language is one of the most distinct languages of the world due to its
wealth, it is considered one of the advanced languages weather in its
letters, utterances, or combinations. Many researchers were amazed about
it and they admired it although it grew and developed in the arid
deserts. It is distinguished by the excellence of the pronunciation and
the elegance of the meaning. Moreover, it is prosperous with many images
and meanings, thus, it has the ability to change the dumb images into
rhetorical expressions which means that it is the language of metaphor
and meaning of meanings. It is enough for the Arabic that is it the
language of the Holy Koran that elevated it and increased its elegance
and grace among other languages.
Arabic is
the language of poetry and prose, this made it widespread; many non-
Arabic speakers wanted to learn it in order to be acquainted with its
style and be more familiar with the publicity of this unique language.
Arabic is characterized by its flexibility in the technique of arranging
the sentence which enables the speaker to initiate or delay whatever
important without changing the meaning or any deprivation of its
eloquence. Arabic is the langue of brevity or redundant according to
the purpose of the speaker so that he must not deprive the listener from
the necessary details or go to long and add non-important points. Arabic
also is notable for its positive characteristics like synonyms,
opposites and verbal sharing.
Since
language is the key of knowledge of all the cultures and civilizations,
we are sure that learning Arabic language enables its learner to access
the culture of the Arab world and inhale form the different kinds of
knowledge of Arab people.
It should
be noted that learning Arabic for non-Arabic speakers create fertile
ground to attract students and engage them in research and investigation
of the beauty of this language through making comparisons with their
mother tongue. Accordingly, this creates a need for exploration and
comparative study of languages.
Consequently, the importance of this matter has made a great need ,in
Western countries in general and in the Scandinavian countries in
particular, for educational institute which teaches Arabic: its rules,
fundamentals, literature, eloquence and criticism . . . There is no
doubt that the Scandinavian countries lack an academic institute which
is specialized in teaching Arabic and which save time and effort and
spare the traveling to the countries of the native language which is
sought by the people who want to learn the language from the land of its
origin. There are many people who want to learn Arabic but the lack of
the specialized institutes hinders their desire to learn. Therefore, we
were keen to open this institute which is based on our personal efforts
in our specialization in Arabic language and all its branches.
Students
who are enrolled in our Institute will gain certificate that proves
their study in our Institute and their participation in the courses
which ranges from one to six months according to the quality of the
session and the applicants.
In view of
the fact that Arabic is vital language we were asked by non-Arabic
speakers to open continuous sessions specially for number of diplomats
who wish to work in Arab countries or members of Swedish companies who
want to learn Arabic to keep abreast of their work in the Arab
countries.
Among many
arts linked to the learning of Arabic tongue is the translation which is
the art that permit the non- Arabic student to convey the Arab heritage
to his mother tongue or translate the products of his nation in
knowledge, music, and literature for the Arabic readers. Translation
will widen the horizons and open the gates of knowledge between the
different cultures of the world.
All of
these benefits and others are provided by the Arabic Language Institute
in Sweden. Welcome to you to this special scientific construction.
